Senior BDE :

- The primary responsibility of the BDE is to generate revenue from their region, both through B2B and B2C channels.

- They would be required to cultivate new relationships, and maintain the existing clients, either directly or through channel partners. The person would also be responsible to recruit and manage a high calibre sales force once business picks up.

Some of the primary activities of the BDE would include and involve:

- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.

- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.

- Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests and provide product samples and catalogues.

- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.

- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

- Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids that meet specific customer needs.

- Undertake opportunity and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities

- Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.

- Prepare Daily Sales Reports, sales contracts and order forms.

- Plan, assemble, and stock product displays in retail stores, or make recommendations to retailers regarding product displays, promotional programs, and advertising.

- Achieve the revenue targets mutually agreed upon
