Business Development Manager

We are looking for people, who are keen to use their skills to transform farmers lives. You will join a highly energised and competent team working on advanced global technologies such as OCR, facial recognition, AI-led disease prediction amongst others.We are looking for a qualified Business development manager to take the lead in developing and delivering successful sales strategies for our company. If you are a tech-savvy and sales trend setter who has innovative ideas to improve customer experience, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities :

- Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities.

- Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.

- Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.

- Develop strategies and positions by analysing new venture integration.

- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals.

- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.

- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources

- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals inline with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.

- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company.

- Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.

- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.

- Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics.

Basic Requirements :

- Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

- Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.

- Should have collaborative work style to engage with peers & colleagues in other functions across the company.

- Should have excellent communication skills along with strong presentation and data analytics skills.

- Should have a very good hold in excel and PowerPoint.

- Should have good understanding in new technologies like Artificial intelligence, IoT, gadgets etc.

- Exceptionally high motivational levels and need to be a self-starter.

- Good understanding of analytics tools like Power BI will be given preference.

Preferred Requirements :

- Extensive work experience in animal husbandry/dairy.

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Business development.

- MBA in Rural Management or Agri Business.

- Communication experience with farmers,FPO and government agencies.
