Gomechanic - Partnership Manager (4-8 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Formulate the overarching strategy for the alliance, defining objectives, scope, and desired outcomes.

2. Identify potential partners that align with the organization's strategic goals and have complementary strengths and resources.

3. Lead negotiations and agreements with prospective partners, outlining terms, responsibilities, and expectations.

4. Evaluate and manage potential risks associated with the alliance, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.

5. Allocate financial and human resources to support the alliance's implementation and ongoing management.

6. Establish a governance structure for the alliance, including decision-making processes, communication protocols, and conflict-resolution mechanisms.

7. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor and assess the alliance's progress toward achieving strategic objectives.

8. Cultivate strong relationships with alliance partners, fostering trust, collaboration, and effective communication.

9. Be prepared to adapt the alliance strategy and approach based on changing market conditions, partner dynamics, or other external factors.

10. Develop contingency plans and exit strategies in case the alliance no longer aligns with the organization's strategic goals or encounters insurmountable challenges.

Skills Required :

1. The ability to negotiate terms, agreements, and partnerships with other organizations, ensuring that the alliance benefits all parties involved.

2. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are crucial for building and maintaining relationships with alliance partners, as well as for conveying information and updates effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

3. The capacity to think strategically, assess market opportunities, and align alliance activities with the organization's overall strategy and long-term goals.

4. Skill in identifying and resolving issues that may arise within the alliance, such as disagreements or unexpected challenges, to ensure the partnership remains productive.

5. In the case of international alliances, cultural sensitivity and an understanding of global business practices are essential for navigating diverse cultural contexts and building successful partnerships.
