Job Description :

- GoMassive Earth Network (GEN) Incubators is an India-based incubator that is working in the area of climate change and sustainability, undertaking the following activities.

- Run Bootcamps and incubation programs for Corporates

- Host industry-focused events (NXT) to increase awareness as well prepare industry-wide research reports

- Invest in startups working in the area of working in Clean Energy, Clean Mobility, Clean Water, Clean Food & Clean Cities sectors.

- Set up pilot projects in the area of plastic waste / sustainable forests and wetlands

- Gomassive has also run an accelerator - Lowcarbon.earth" for UNEP in partnership with Massive Earth Foundation and is also the host of NXT series namely MobilityNXT, WasteNXT, etc.

- We are now looking for a dynamic Community Manager to take this relationship further and not only support existing relationships but also build new relationships with Corporates looking to explore innovations in Climate Change / Pollution.

Responsibilities :

- Planning event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives.

- Coming up with suggestions to enhance the event's success.

- Preparing budgets and ensuring adherence.

- Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers

- Be in charge of hiring personnel

- Coordinate all operations

 
- Lead promotional activities for the event

- Supervise all staff

- Approve all aspects before the day of the event

- Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur

- Analyze the event's success

Requirements and skills : 

- Proven experience as event manager

- Skilled in project management

- Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management

- Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office

- Outstanding communication and negotiation ability

- Excellent organizational skills

- A knack for problem-solving

- Customer-service orientation

- A team player with leadership skills

- BSc/BA in PR, marketing, hospitality management or related field is preferred
