Business Development Manager

Key Accountabilities (ROLE REQUIREMENT) :

- Responsible for fulfilling Order Booking Budgets for a specific region covering a group of Business (LOB)

- Responsible for demand generation in a specified region to address current fiscal and next fiscal pipeline needs in concert with LOB's

- Play supporting role in large pursuits managed by Regional Sales Manager

- Work under the direction of Regional Sales Manager to create collaterals/ content to support all Lead Generation activities

- Present capabilities/ credentials in net new accounts for Large Enterprise opportunities

- Setup follow-up processes on lead generation activities

- Support Event participation to generate net new demand

Business skills :

- Communicates effectively, formally and informally, with colleagues and customers. Demonstrates self-initiative. Clear understanding of the relationship between own area of responsibility/specialization and takes customer requirements into account when making proposals. Takes initiative to keep skills up to date. Maintains awareness of developments in the industry. Can analyze user requirements and advise users on scope and options for operational improvement.

Educational Background :

- Educated to degree level and holds a professional qualification.

- MBA preferably in Marketing / Sales

Previous Experience :

- Has achieved proficiency in the Task of Business Development in IT industry

- Have worked previously in the region where the role is being assigned

- Has overall experience of 5+ years including at least 4+ years in IT Service industry primarily in the ERP space covering Microsoft, Infor, SAP or Oracle.

Prior Knowledge and Skills :

- Shows evidence of good analytical ability and attention to detail and strong commercial skills. Has a good knowledge of a wide area of information systems concepts and practice, both within and beyond own organization. Including all stages of systems development. Has a deep knowledge of at least one area of specialization.
