Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Professional who will be at the forefront of building new business opportunities catering to the services rendered by the organization. The job will include reaching out to potential clients in the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, medical device manufacturers, doctors etc.

Expect to exercise your mind and branding capabilities to devise interesting, relevant and effective campaigns for Gleath's advertisers. If you are looking for a job where you make cold calls, send out a Sales Deck as a mass email, pitch the same old thing to 20 different advertisers, this job is NOT for you

- Penetrating potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings

- Developing business proposals & pitches

- Meeting monthly sales targets

- Researching business opportunities and viable income streams

- Facilitating the entire BD process; lead generation, client meetings, building presentations, and negotiation/closing the client deals for self/company provided leads

- Keeping abreast of the latest industry news & happenings

- Developing growth strategies and plans

- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events to broaden networks

- Developing quotes and proposals for clients

- Finding out who controls the advertising budget in target organizations and contacting them

- Maintaining ongoing communication with all the clients & foster loyal & lasting relationships.

- Developing partnership and business association with larger agencies for building alliances
 
Desired Candidate Profile :

- An active listener with a compelling sales personality and a hunger to chase and close new business are the vibes we are looking for, in the individual.

- Proven experience in Business Development with experience in Selling of organizational services. Experience in medical and health industry will be a plus

- A Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in Sales

- Strategic thinking in sales and the ability to multi-task.

- Drive and initiative, self-motivated, results, and action-oriented.

- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Strong communication skills: fluent written and verbal English both interpersonally and in an analytical/technical business setting.

- Strong presentation and discussion of facilitation skills.

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Communication and negotiation skills
