ABOUT THE JOB

Get Me Rank (GMR) is growing and looking for a motivated, goal oriented, results driven Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. Our goal is to hire candidates that are motivated go-getters, problem solvers and has ability to work on multiple projects in a high energy and fast paced environment. The right candidate should be able to work independently while collaborating with the other teams.

The Email Marketing Specialist role is geared towards creating email marketing strategies and implementing those strategies across a number of our ecommerce, and lead generation clients. We are looking for someone who can methodically optimize and experiment with different approaches.

Our ideal Email Marketing Specialist would be comfortable setting up ongoing campaigns and flows that target different stages of the customer journey and lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing promotional email campaigns, working to help support brand development, new customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth for our clients. You would expertly test, elevate, and document winning strategies and content. We are looking for a candidate with experience and one that has a strong desire to do what it takes to learn, grow and succeed, in a fast-paced environment. This role you will work closely with our creative team, media planner and media buying team. Together, with the Media planner, you will identify KPIs as well as monthly and annual goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Coordinate across all teams for the design, production, proofing, approvals and delivery of email campaigns, web forms, and landing pages by required deadlines.

- Maintain consistency in digital marketing campaigns while following brand guidelines.

- Incorporate best practices into all emails (including, but not limited to: subject line creation, email design & content, calls to action, personalization, A/B testing, and automation rules).

- Elevate our promotional email programs by developing/writing, deploying and measuring triggered email drip campaigns.

- Understand best practices for email opt-in and list cleaning to ensure high delivery rates.

- Collaborate with team members to build email list segmentation, set up automated flows, import/export data and perform other duties within our marketing automation platform.

- Optimize all campaigns by testing subject lines, creative, copy, send time, layout, landing pages, etc.

- Develop customer lifecycle campaigns from onboarding flows to retention, to at-risk of lapsing emails as well as developing win-back strategies.

- Develop customer segments and flows that target with personalized content.

- Overhaul existing flows based on your own strategy for growth while working with Account Managers.

- Avid mobile-first approach to optimizing all email templates.

- Analyze results of campaigns on a daily basis create weekly and monthly reporting with insights and recommendations for optimizations as well as implementation.

- Responsible for flawless execution on all content - emails, banners, on-site campaigns - QA content, linking, segmentation, etc.

- Own the end-to-end management of all emails, on-site campaigns, and other retention programs - this includes strategy, campaign setup, content, reporting, and daily monitoring for growth.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Tech, and Marketing) to ensure timely deliveries of all creative assets are scheduled prior to deployment.

- Own and optimize SMS/MMS marketing as it relates to customer retention and engagement.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

- Bachelor's degree in a related field

- 1+ years experience in the e-commerce field with relevant CRM experience

- Experience with conversion optimization, analytics, UX/CX, or similar

- Experience with Klaviyo and Shopify is a must

- Obsessed about e-commerce trends, analytics, best practices, and technology

- Experience with key email metrics to support and recommend innovative marketing strategies.

- Impeccable attention to detail and quality assurance.

- Project management experience

- Familiarity with SEO, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, etc.

- Experience working with Google suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead projects independently and cohesively with a team

- Ability to work in a small and fast-paced boutique environment

- Must be highly organized and able to juggle multiple projects with many moving pieces, weighing priorities effectively.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills to address client and internal project teams

- Highly accountable, solution-oriented, and detail-oriented

- Technically savvy and proactive about independently learning new developments in the internet industry and digital space
