Job Description :

Summary : 

Requirement of a General Manager, Marketing with an entrepreneurial mindset in order to dynamically manage and grow the existing distribution channels of FMCG products, OTC surgical products, private and public hospital products and corporate institution sales.

Marketing Strategy : 

Selection and appointment of suitable distribution agencies for key markets in India for all each distribution channel - FMCG products, OTC surgical products, private and public hospital products and corporate institution sales-

Travel: approximately, 10 to 15 days per month or on need basis-

- Strategy and implementation for achieving growth objectives for domestic business in consultation with management

- Conducting sales review meetings and presenting strategic insights along with plan of action with management on a quarterly basis 

- Collection of key market intel (pricing, competitor activity, overall market trends, etc.) for all areas and products on a periodic basis and advising top management for periodic pricing corrections or changes in approach. Expected to have a strong grip on the market pulse-

- Suggestions for new products, promotional activities, etc. to management-

- Setting up of Private Institutional sales/Hospital sales division including hiring and training staff .

- Management of Sales Team & Activities

- Setting up and managing field sales team to effectively manage distribution system. Includes expense management, trip reports, promotional activities, tour plans, lead management, etc.

- Mentor field sales staff and contribute to their growth in the firm, ensure stickiness of staff

- Regularly visit key customers through India to maintain business relationship, collect feedback and form new customers

- Monthly review of sales figures with sales team and appropriate corrective actions to achieve growth objectives

- Hiring activities for sales team

- Redesigning incentive structure for sales team to suitably motivate sales team to achieve overall growth objectives in consultation with management

- Design and implementation of timely promotional activities 

- Participation in key trade fairs in India and abroad (once firmly embedded in the system)

- Timely identification and participation in key government tenders in coordination with sales administration and management-

- Supervising Sales Operations

- Maintenance of pricing, schemes, terms and conditions for all customers

- Outstanding receivables and payment management for all customers

- Setting up key contracts for logistics partner for all states in consultation with management

- Systemic improvements to ensure timely execution of sales orders

Working Days : 6 Days a Week (9:30 AM to 6:30 PM)
