We are looking for a Leadership Role candidate in Business Development and Sales for one of our leading clients in Pharmaceuticals Industry.

Job Description - General Manager (BD & Sales) Europe Market

Designation : General Manager

Job Location : Bangalore, India.

Industry : Nutrition / Health & Wellness / Pharmaceuticals

Domain : B2B - Ingredients and Formulated Products.

Job Description:

- Drive business development and direct all sales activities in Pan European Market

- Manage current team based out of Frankfurt, Germany through well planned market visits to check route coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order to increase sales in the region.

- Monitor the sales performance of competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position, including protection of its IPR.

- Plan and Manage Sales both at strategic and operational levels

- Establish strong relationship with existing & potential customers and channel partners

- Maximize sales and productivity through strategic planning and implementation, understanding sales trends, market research, analyzing business needs & forecasting.

- Lead / Build a high performance team, work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment

Candidate Requirement:

- 10 - 20 years of experience in B2B Sales

- Should have proven track record in B2B industry similar to our business

- Thorough understanding of the European Market

- Proven expertise in planning, formulating and implementing marketing strategies to increase market penetration and to drive revenue and profitability by maximizing sales.

- Knowledge of and Communication in German, French or any other European language would be preferred

- Team Building and Team Management skills are important

- Excellent communication/presentation skills

- A very strong work-ethic, high integrity & values

- Willingness to Travel

Note: Candidate will be placed in Germany after a year.

Candidates who is on frequent travel to Europe and from Pharma background can apply.
