About this role :

We're looking for an energetic, outgoing and optimistic go-getter to join our business development team. This is a B2B Sales Development role where you'll qualify and surface new sales opportunities and recruit new accounts. This position is an amazing opportunity for anyone with a sales mentality who is looking to get their feet wet in the software sales world!

What you'll do :

- Market research - You don't need to be a Software expert, but you will learn about technology while researching and evaluating prospective clients.

- Recruit new clients - You will evaluate a prospective customer's strengths, provide insights for areas where they can improve, and build productive long-lasting relationships.

- Build relationships - Evaluate customers- marketing skills, needs, and provide recommendations that will help our clients successfully utilize our platform.

- Work to onboard new clients - You'll work with our Account Manager team to make sure our new software vendors get set up right.

What you'll need :

- Bachelor's degree is required

- 3-8 years of full-time work experience

- Persistence - You don- t know the meaning of the word quit.

- Unshakable optimism and energy - You are lively and bold, with the kind of personality that comes through easily over the phone.

- Black belt phone skills - You're able to succeed in just about any situation we would encounter on the phone.

- A company-first mentality - You understand what is good for the company and always do the right thing, even when no one on your team is watching.

- Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change.

- Be teachable and open to best practices and feedback as a means of continuous improvement.

- Be consistent at delivering results through perseverance, humility, and a positive outlook in the face of challenges.

- Have the ability to be professionally persistent while prospecting and managing C-level and senior-level relationships within large global enterprises and also small businesses

- Experience in a sales role including cold calling experience

- Excellent communication skills and a high level of business acumen
