About

- Furrl is a funded early stage startup building the next generation of lifestyle e-commerce through a clutter-breaking discovery platform for new-age brands. We are attacking the 100 billion dollar D2C market in India by creating a one stop shop for consumers to discover, validate and purchase these lakhs of independent brands and creators in India, in a way that is personalized and effective at scale.

- At the helm of Furrl is our Founder, a highly accomplished professional with an educational background from prestigious institutions such as IIT Kanpur and Harvard Business School. With a wealth of experience in building successful businesses from scratch, both within startups and large corporations like Myntra and ITC, our Founder has a proven track record of driving innovation and growth. Most recently, she was Partner at Entrepreneur First, an early stage VC that she launched in India, where she mentored over 300 entrepreneurs and built a portfolio of 42 startups in the country.

Responsibilities

We are building a stellar category business team at Furrl, and you will be part of an exciting journey of building the business from the early days. We are looking for smart and driven fashion enthusiasts who are quick to learn, passionate about e-commerce and excited about the unfurling wave of D2C commerce in India.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Playing a key role in setting the selection strategy for Furrl.

- Outreach to target brands to bring them on board the platform.

- Setting up systems and processes for smooth onboarding of brands.

- Building strong relationships with brands and developing them as partners. Working with brands on selection, pricing and marketing partnerships.

- Constant metric tracking to ensure brands' success on the platform; working on levers across the funnel such as bestseller inventory tracking, platform visibility, content optimization on product pages, pricing etc.

- Working with the tech team to ensure the right systems are in place for onboarding and managing brands.

- Market research to map out the independent D2C brand ecosystem in fashion, lifestyle and beauty and identifying target brands.

Requirements :

- 1-3 years of category e-commerce experience, preferably in Fashion and Lifestyle.

- Excel skills required - ability to do basic analysis and data management on Excel.

- Self-starter with high ownership qualities.

- Ability to be credible in front of brands and build lasting relationships.

- A basic understanding of the D2C ecosystem and a keen eye for identifying new and interesting brands.

- Are known for taking initiative and have demonstrated a history of leading side projects.
