Business Development Manager - Remote


The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player committed to our customer's success. You will focus on growing and developing existing clients and generating new business by identifying, implementing, and executing new strategies.

Responsibilities

- Drive sales performance - own your portfolio partner's platform business growth through proactive reporting, analysis, improvement projects, and identifying growth opportunities. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to drive change and devise solutions to ensure issues are addressed and the accounts continue to grow.

- Marketing - manage marketing and promotions planning for our stakeholders as they join and scale on the platform. Keep on top of timelines and collaborate cross-functionally with our Business Head to hit targets as we scale.

- Consumer value proposition - build the processes that allow our stakeholders to succeed on the platform by developing an attractive value proposition for customers, including selection, promotions, pricing and service levels.

- Stakeholder management - manage a portfolio of Funky Town's most strategically important restaurant partners and artists including high sales volume drivers and global brands, and ensure that our internal stakeholders are supporting where appropriate.

- Planning and executing growth strategies both online and offline for acquiring new users and expanding reseller bandwidth. Driving and conceptualising new user acquisition initiatives.

- Building relationships with external and internal partners to drive growth.Understanding users and enhancing the user experience.

- Ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and enabling steady ROI. Planning and executing marketing strategies both ground and digital. Promoting organic user growth and driving genuine traffic.

- Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners

- Prepare and guarantee monthly quarterly and annual sales forecasts

Qualifications : 

- Background: 5 years experience in account management or commercial role.

- Analytical - able to cut through the noise, get deep into data and understand the data points that drive performance improvements for our grocery partners.

- Partner-Focused - be obsessed with our restaurant partners. Use quantitative and qualitative data to build a service that is best for our customers.

- Entrepreneurial - have ideas and strategies to drive the growth of our joint business with our partners, with a willingness to trial at pace.

- Adaptable Fixer - enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable with the ability to remove barriers and bottlenecks via facilitation, creativity and resourcefulness.

- Cross-Functional Team Player - a collaborative team player who can get the best out of the people around you.

- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
