Area Sales Manager
As an ASM, you would :
- Setup and Manage distributors across the city / geography for the retail and food service channels
- Recruit and manage a team of sales officers / executives, and promoters to drive penetration in the market
- Ensure proper reporting is maintained by the entire team
- Train and guide the team in the market via filed visits
- Co-ordinate with the marketing team on the visibility, promotion drives across the city as needed for the brand offtake
- Keep a close watch on the speed of movement across outlets
- Develop a direct relationships with all the fast moving accounts
- Take timely corrective action to drive up sales from slow moving accounts
- Keep a close eye on competition / competitive activites, scheme and promotions in the market.
- Manage relationships across distributors in terms of payments, inventory status, FIFO management, claim documentation and settlement.
