About this role: You have to be an experienced sale professional & excited about owning the revenue, but are also ready to be scrappy in a start-up environment.

Initial responsibilities include:

- Drive sponsorship and exhibition sales.

- Prospect and develop new clients.

- Develop a consistent, replicable sales process.

- Serve as a - voice of the advertiser- to broader business and product teams; build case for new product capabilities, ad units, etc.

Requirements:

- 4+ years- experience in Exhibition/ Conferences/Sponsorship.

- Demonstrate track record in building a sales business at another media/ exhibition or a digital publisher

- Excellent strategic thinker

- Deep understanding buyer-seller/ trade platforms.

- A personal network at brands and corporates.

- Interest in building a business with a strong social mission at the intersection of private and public sectors

- Develop and deliver Sponsorship sales strategy for the assigned events / Magazine.

- Achieve targeted revenues by maximizing the revenue generated from existing and well as developing new advertising clients

- Acquire new clients by pitching various value propositions on offer

- Retaining existing clients, upgrading them and cross selling other products

- Act as a key account manager and handle end to end activities for the client

- Draw up contracts and timely collection of all payments due from existing and new clients.

- Work closely with all the internal stakeholders of the company to ensure 360 degree support from other departments.

- Analytical bent of mind with an ability to have a consultative approach towards clients
