Job Role : Manager - Presales/Bid Management : Smart Cities

Experience Required : 5 to 10 years

Job Location : Hyderabad

Roles & responsibilities :

- Prepare Proposals - Should oversee all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner.

- Review all customer requirements to ensure that they are met in the proposal and collaborate with a wide variety of involved parties to include all necessary information within the proposals.

- Manage Databases - Tasked with coordinating incoming bid requests and proposal responses, he must organize and track all requests and responses using company databases. It is his responsibility to maintain and update databases regularly.

- Oversee Bid Pricing - Negotiate with potential, current suppliers and partners in order to put in best competitive bids. They assist with bid pricing and submit pricing suggestions for review and approval.

- Program manage high value proposal development including RFP Activities include kick off call, TOC, identification of best fit skills, assignment of responsibility matrix.

- Work on ready content sections.

- Compile content contribution from all members Coordination across support functions.

- Ability to see the proposal to completion and to be able to overcome roadblocks Good communication skills, a can do approach and a positive attitude are desirable.

- Facilitate proposal process and proposal reviews

- Prepare Bid Plan, Proposal Strategy and assist in making updates, clarifications and additions to the proposal.

- Guide various stakeholders in responding to RFPs and conceiving marketing strategy for the practice

- Manage and expand relationship with specific customer accounts and ensure solution development efforts addresses customer needs.

- Contributing to the written proposal - both in terms of content and presentation

- Represent the organization at key-industry forums, conferences, trade-shows and marketing events.

- Continuously monitor and re-align product positioning & pricing strategies to ensure product line profitability.

- Analyze industry trends, customer pain points and competitor strategies.

Skills Required :

- Have excellent communications and team builder, leading the sales department to secure winning bids and increase its revenue.

- Business-minded multi-taskers who know how to organize and prioritize and may even have some project management experience.

- Experience in proposal management

- Demonstrating previous exposure to contracts and an understanding of basic contract language

- Having extensive sales experience

- Possessing experience interacting with executive-level staff

- Showing an understanding of the bid process

- Experience securing large contracts

- Industry-specific knowledge and background

- Knowledge of document management methods
