Job Summary : The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth. This position involves developing and implementing sales strategies, coaching and mentoring sales representatives, and ensuring the team consistently meets or exceeds sales goals. The Sales Manager plays a critical role in building and maintaining customer relationships while also contributing to the overall success and profitability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Sales Strategy Development : Develop and execute strategic sales plans and objectives in alignment with the company's goals and vision.

2. Team Leadership : Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team. Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

3. Sales Forecasting : Monitor market trends, analyze sales data, and create accurate sales forecasts. Adjust strategies as needed to achieve sales targets.

4. Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients. Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly.

5. Sales Process Management : Implement and improve sales processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity.

6. Product Knowledge : Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to effectively communicate with customers and provide solutions that meet their needs.

7. Sales Reporting : Prepare and present regular sales reports, including revenue, sales activities, and customer feedback, to senior management.

8. Budget Management : Manage the sales budget, allocate resources effectively, and control expenses to ensure profitability.

9. Market Research : Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the market.

10. Sales Training : Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for sales representatives to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Proven experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.

- Previous experience in a leadership or management role.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.

- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Industry-specific certifications or training.

- Knowledge of the company's products and services.

- Experience with sales team management software and tools.
