Hiring for Area Sales Manager ( General Trade/ Modern Trade) for Baby Care Products for Mumbai Location.

The Responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager - Sales & Distribution Management

- Manage the Sales & Distribution ( Modern Trade/ General Trade)

- Identify, recruit and on-board team, financially strong reliable Super Stockiest, Distributors resulting in deeper market penetration and reach.

- Ensure Distributor compliance with Distributor agreements, Distributor profile, and empanelment details.

- Give Strategic Direction to ensure Sales & Operations Team to achieve Targets ( Primary & Secondary)

- Effective planning of promotion & brand level width & depth Distribution

- Plan & Execute Rolling Sales Plan to achieve product wise targets ( Week / Month / Year)

- Educate Distributors about product portfolio and services offered.

- Manage ATL & BTL and marketing activities to generate trails and revenue.

- Review the operational performance of the distributors

- Annual Business Planning, Budget Control, Revenue generation

- Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales and identify new business opportunities

- Arrange and address sales and Distributor conferences

- Keep close watch on developments in competitor activities.

Team Management :

- Plan and assign goals and tasks to the sales team.

- Train, motivate and guide the sales team.

- Evaluate performance of sales team and provide appropriate feedback.

- Respond to escalated customer complaints in a timely manner to brand team

- Deploy the Sales resources to ensure best ROI.

Job Purpose :

- To assist RSM to driving business & ensure desired depth and width of coverage.

- Increase the Market share & ROI for all stake holder.

Job Profile:

- To implement excellence in selling systems through distributor & team.

- To utilise manpower resources & review effectiveness and coverage.

- To plan and implement permanent journey cycles to ensure predetermined and timely coverage.

- To ensure proper selection and training sales team @ SE / SA & Distributor

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Graduate/ MBA Marketing with 10 to 15 years of Experience in Sales and Distribution in FMCG+Baby Care Products.

- Proven Experience in handling Sales Teams & Distributors (Modern Trade/ General Trade)

- Ability to manage team and create positive environment and critical decision making

- Excellent people skill, Communication and Analytical skill.
