Farmtheory - Executive - Business Development (1-3 yrs)

Bangalore Job Code: 300255

About Farmtheory:

- In theory, we are a B2B Agri-food start-up ethically sourcing and delivering fresh fruits and vegetables within 20 hours of harvesting to the food service and processing industry in Bangalore. In practice, we are a value-driven group of people pursuing the larger problem of food loss by creating value for unfairly rejected fruits and vegetables and ultimately maximising a farmer's harvest.

- We are deeply passionate about food and its place within Bangalore's culinary ecosystem. We recognize the need for a significant transformation in the food service and processing industry to address issues like food waste, inefficient supply chains, and the disparity between growers and makers of food. We aim to reimagine the food supply chain by challenging traditional norms, focusing on equity, eliminating intermediaries, and emphasising a more humane, people-centric approach, all with the goal of reshaping the food industry for the better.

- Now a team of 150+ strong, we are focused on assembling a dedicated core team capable of working closely with the Founders and independently steering their respective functions, keeping sustainable growth in mind.
