Exicon Consulting - Business Development Role (2-4 yrs)

- Responsible for Sales planning

- Responsible for building & managing sales for the assigned territory & accounts against an agreed revenue, to increase on year on year.

- To play a strategic role in creating an account development roadmap by

a. Identifying key divisions & clients within the BD managers assigned accounts

b. Maximizing productivity from each of his/her clients in terms of efforts & profitability

c. Targeting profitable services

d. Creating service packages in advance for client needs

e. Building customized capability slide decks

- To work in tandem with the Client Servicing team to ensure closure of projects

- To ensure complete client Satisfaction on project closures & intervene if need be.

Key Tasks:

Strategic Direction

- To ideate, suggest, build & Introduce new products and services, as required by Clients on the ground.

- To work with the MD, BD team, Client Servicing & Execution teams to devise and implement various corporate plans, reports and forecasts for the short and longer term to enhance the external profile of EC (Exicon Consulting) business and commercial activities and maximize income generation opportunities.

- To take responsibility for EC's commercial business plans and targets including income generation targets.'


Operational Direction


- To market and sell all trading activities to an agreed annual target of invoiced revenue, to increase year on year.

- To meet all financial targets laid down by the Managing Director -EC.

- Working with the Client Servicing Head as & when required for satisfactory closure of the projects.

- To ensure all Sales planning & meeting formats are duly completed on time.

- To maintain effective relationships with EC's existing clients to retain business.

- To develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income for EC to an agreed annual target of invoiced revenue, to increase year on year.

- To present EC to potential clients through communication in face-toface meetings, telephone calls and emails.

- To actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close.

- To be responsible for ensuring all sales opportunities to EC are captured and explored.

- To represent EC at meetings, events and tradeshows with a view to gaining new business leads and contacts.

- To create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation, following EC's procedures.

- To respond to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner.

General

- To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities.

- To undertake such other duties and training as may be reasonably required and which are commensurate with the nature and grading of the post.

- To comply with all legislative requirements, together with the policies and procedures of the organisation and to ensure this is applied by staff and volunteers.
