As the Executive Vice President (Senior Manager) for Gold Loans, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our Gold Loans division, ensuring profitable growth and effective risk mitigation.

What you will do :

- Driving the strategic direction of the Gold Loans division, aligning with the overall organizational goals and objectives.

- Ensuring profitable growth and effective risk mitigation strategies are in place.

- Developing and implementing lending policies and procedures specific to gold-backed loans.

- Regularly review and update lending policies to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Monitoring market trends, assess competitive landscape, and identify opportunities for expansion and diversification within the gold loans segment.

- Working closely with market research teams to stay informed about industry dynamics.

- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with refineries, jewellers, and other relevant partners to ensure a robust supply chain for gold-backed loans.

- Collaborating with key stakeholders to explore new business opportunities and mutually beneficial partnerships.

- Providing effective leadership to a dedicated team responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of gold-backed loan portfolios.

- Fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.

What you need to have:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.

- Proven experience in a senior management role within the financial industry, with a focus on gold-backed lending.

- Strong understanding of lending policies, risk management, and compliance requirements.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
