The Job

Your responsibilities will include :

Generate Sales Leads : Actively identify and pursue potential clients through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and online research. Develop a strong pipeline of sales leads to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities.

Conduct Sales Presentations : Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value proposition and benefits of the software solutions. Effectively communicate how the software can address the specific needs and challenges of the client.

Build and Maintain Client Relationships : Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to maximize customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Proactively engage with clients to understand their evolving needs and propose suitable software solutions to enhance their business operations.

Develop Sales Strategies : Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and tactics. Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to refine and improve the sales approach. Stay updated on industry developments and emerging technologies related to software sales.

Negotiate and Close Sales : Skillfully negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure new business deals. Understand the client's budgetary constraints and ensure alignment between their requirements and the proposed software solutions. Close sales opportunities in a timely manner to meet or exceed sales targets.

Provide Post-Sales Support : Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of the software solutions. Address any post-sales concerns or issues promptly and efficiently, striving to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.

Collaborate with Internal Teams : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Provide valuable insights and feedback from the market to aid in product enhancements and future offerings.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting : Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including client interactions, sales activities, and revenue forecasts. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.

Attend Industry Events : Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand professional networks and promote software solutions. Act as a brand ambassador, fostering positive relationships and creating opportunities for business growth.

Continuous Learning : Stay abreast of the latest trends, developments, and best practices in software sales. Engage in ongoing professional development through training, certifications, and self-study to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Ideal Candidate :

- You have at least 1 year experience within a Business Development / Account Manager (B2B), Sales Operations / Support or Inside Sales role, ideally within the IT Software industry.

- You have a proven track record of meeting/exceeding your targets.

- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.

- You are a strong networker & relationship builder

- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments

- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard

- You have proven experience in software sales or a related field.

- You have excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
