Executive - Sales - Solar PV Power Projects Firm (0-3 yrs)

- Our client is one of the oldest turnkey Solar PV Power Projects company located in India. The company was incorporated in the year 2015 with its Corporate Headquarters located in India's first World Heritage City Ahmedabad (Gujarat). They expertise in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Utility-scale projects under CAPEX and RESCO models. Their key geographical operations are in India, Africa, and East Asia.

The Job :

Your responsibilities will include :

- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make sales

- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person via calls and mails

- Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business

- Responding to incoming mails and phone queries

- Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets

- Negotiating the terms of agreement and closing sales

- Gathering market and customer information

- Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations

- Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers

- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions

- Creating detailed proposal documents

- Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders

- Checking quantities of goods on display in stock

- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office or entering into a computer system

- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets

- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations

- Attending team meetings and sharing best practices with them

Ideal Candidate :

- You have at least 1 year experience within a Sales (B2C) role, selling solar power

- You possess solid expertise in Direct Sales and Enterprise Sales.

- Experience within Area Sales would be a strong advantage.

- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.

- You are a strong networker & relationship builder

- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders

- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
