Executive - Sales - Glass Container Industry (6-9 yrs)

About:

Our client was founded in 1936 and is based in Champagne au Mont dOr near Lyon in France and specializes in the production of consumables, mainly for the Lyon textile silk industry.

In the 1970s, the Group made a shift towards the glass container industry, which today represents 95% of the Group's activity.

Our company is both a commercial and industrial company whose customers are the world's largest container glass production groups (around 600 production sites worldwide). The Group operates in the service of the production of glass bottles, by intervening on the noble part called the - hot end- which corresponds to the glass forming process area.

With a workforce of 200 people, production workshops in the United Kingdom (2), France (3), and the United States (1), and 12 commercial subsidiaries, the Group generates sales of around 50 million Euros.

The Group is present in India through a JV with an Indian partner and they are looking to hire sales talent to penetrate and win business in India.

Job brief:

- Our Client is looking for a competitive and trustworthy Sales Executive to help build up their business activities.

- Sales Executive responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

- If you have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate their products and services through email and phone, and face-to-face meetings we- d like to meet you.

- Ultimately, you'll help them meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to their company's rapid and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities : 

- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs

- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media and traveling to customer locations to sell an organization's products or services

- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns

- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services

- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data

- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations

- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences

- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections

- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results

- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams

Desired Candidate Profile :

Requirements :

- Proven experience in sale of industrial products

- Proficiency in English

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office

- Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus

- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques

- Fast learner and passion for sales

- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
