Sales Executive 


Job Description :

- We are looking for suitable candidates for the position of Sales executive (sales activation and modern trade) who would work with the team to build our Offline and Modern Trade Sales channel. This includes working directly with Modern Trade accounts, as well as implementation of Sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives

- The ideal candidate is required to have knowledge and experience in sales activation and/or in FMCG sales/ modern trade. They should be comfortable evaluating the communication process and work to critique and improve its outcomes. They must be willing to work with a Startup in challenging environments with a passion to deliver great results.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop, and maintain thorough understanding of the product offerings and research consumer needs, and identify how our products can meet them.

- Driving operational efficiency for modern trade channel.

- Monitoring performance and taking corrective actions

- Responsible for achieving planned sales of channel

- Develop and ensure implementation of Sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives of Pan India within budgeted costs

- Achieve primary and secondary sales ensuring effective distribution of Company's products

- Provide input in the generation of the SKU's intake/sales forecast

- Working as part of a Key Account team to ensure results are reached according to account plans

- Experience in entering new Channels

- Managing and organizing sales activation campaigns across pan India

- Analysing the success of previous campaigns and thereby building and maintaining a calendar of sales activation campaigns.

- Educate consumers about the product being promoted (through sales activations)

- Make cold calls or perform warm outreach, putting outside-the-box thinking to work to develop new and unique sales tactics.

- Coordinate with stockists, distributors, retailers and other related stakeholders

Desired skills and Qualifications :

- Excellent command of written & spoken English

- Minimum bachelor's degree

- 1-3 years of experience in FMCG Sales/Sales activation/modern trade

- Ability to commute

- Confident public speaker with an excellent command of written & spoken English
