Executive - Sales Development - IT Hardware (5-10 yrs)
Job Description :
As a Sales Development Executive (SDE), you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth within the enterprise segment on a Pan-India basis. You will play a crucial role in identifying potential accounts, initiating contact, and nurturing leads to create a robust sales pipeline for our IT hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Lead Generation :
- Utilize various prospecting techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking, to identify and qualify potential enterprise clients.
- Conduct thorough research to understand the target market, key industry trends, and potential opportunities for our IT hardware solutions.
2. Outbound Prospecting :
- Engage with decision-makers and influencers within target enterprises to introduce our products and services, showcasing their value proposition and benefits.
- Qualify leads based on specific criteria, such as budget, timeline, and organizational needs, to determine their suitability for our solutions.
3. Sales Outreach :
- Execute outbound sales campaigns to drive interest and engagement among prospective clients, leveraging persuasive communication skills and tools like
- LinkedIn to articulate the value proposition of our IT hardware solutions.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings or product demonstrations for the sales team with qualified leads, ensuring a smooth handover of opportunities.
4. Pipeline Management :
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities, interactions, and opportunities within the CRM system.
- Track and monitor the progress of leads through the sales funnel, providing regular updates and insights to the sales team to optimize conversion rates.
5. Collaboration and Support :
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on target accounts, messaging strategies, and campaign initiatives.
- Provide feedback and insights gained from prospecting activities to inform product development, marketing strategies, and sales processes.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Arts/Commerce/Engineering. MBA in Marketing desirable.
- Overall 5 years of work experience of which 3 years of Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or similar lead gen role, preferably within the IT hardware industry or B2B enterprise sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with enterprise-level decision-makers.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce/ZOHO/Hubspot) and sales automation tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a high volume of outbound activities.
- Knowledge of IT hardware products and industry trends is preferred.
