Executive - Market Research - IT (1-5 yrs)
Purpose of the Job: To use the management and market research skills in researching and studying market characteristics of a particular technology product or solution and advice the client on the suitable product features, market entry and partnership models.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Market Research and Consulting Team supports and helps the clients in understanding the market for a product/solution in India and markets across the world. Candidates are required to
- Study and Research existing market characteristics specific to a technology/product
- Analyze market potential and opportunity
- Design market research strategy - Secondary and primary research
- Design primary research(qualitative and quantitative), including questionnaire based on client requirements and execution plan
- Understand, articulate and report consumer behavior, preferences and market drivers
- Approach end customer in gathering their feedback on the products (Fieldwork for research projects-data collection)
- Report and advice the clients on prioritizing key areas of focus and actively follow up on implementation of research strategy provided to the clients.
- Apart from the above mentioned project specific activities, the team members are required to
- Track latest technological advancements in related industries across the world
- Help the management decide on potential new business opportunities
- Handle training sessions for managers from Japan on Market research, business development and best practices in technology industry for globalization
