Executive - Inside Sales - Education Startup (0-1 yrs)

The Inside Sales Executive must be an energetic self-starter who can quickly grasp a start-up companys vision, develop specific tactical plans and begin implementation upon appropriate approvals. The candidate must be resourceful and able to develop a well-defined time management process in order to progress the vision of assigned companies.

Roles :

- Pitch and sell Simple Lecture academic courses to prospect and nurture them to become a customer.

- Assess and identify their needs, effectively handle doubts and objections to close sales.

- Follow-up with customers, prospects and leads to achieve sales and collection targets within stipulated time.

- Manage the entire on-boarding process and resolve any post-sales customer issues by working with other internal departments.

- Adhere to stipulated call norms on a daily basis.

- Generate leads for company through database, internet, search engines & other tools.

- Cold calling, cold emailing.

- Handle inbound prospect calls and convert them into sales.

- Experience with customer identification, call planning, account management and closing.

- Fixing appointments for products demos with clients.

- Deliver product demos and sales presentations (online and in-person, if needed).

- Be part of customer service and success as needed

Skill Set :

- Keen interest in education and innovation.

- Being interested in solving business and customer issues through strong lines of communication and presence of mind.

- An inherent ability to position, market and sell an idea or product will be a key skill set.

Demonstrated Skills / Knowledge :

- Excellent in problem solving Strong analytical ability.

- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work as part of a team.

- Able to work independently but within strategic framework.

- Good business acumen.

- Willing to learn and ask questions

Strong organizational skills :

- Fast-learner, keen on details, and self-motivated

- Presentation skills

Languages Known : English, Kannada (mandatory), other languages can be an add-on

Other requirements :

- Must be efficient at utilizing computer - based tools (PC, Excel) to accomplish tasks and communicate with others.

- Efficient at e-mail and cell communication
