1. Poor learning outcomes in primary education - This is a result of low engagement in learning. Genius aims to enhance engagement during learning by personalizing it based on every childS interest, need, and speed.

2. Economic empowerment of educated yet unemployed population - India lacks more than 1 million quality teachers, and content designers. Genius will make the creatives that India deserves, through training and gainful employment of educated individuals.

3. Mis-guided approach towards learning due to lack of Analytics - Children are being taught with no analysis and understanding of the learning capabilities of the child. Genius will give the teachers that powerful tool which will give them real-time analysis and intelligence to take informed decisions.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Genius is growing phenomenally and its clientele is multiplying 10x. We need warriors who can sell our vision with an introduction to our products and acquire new customers (Schools & Parents). A great extent also includes increasing engagement with existing customers, collecting feedback from them and upselling our new upgraded products.

Business Development (Tele-Sales) role is integral to achieving Genius's mission.

Genius Learning Content production team is inspired by the works of the Disney's and Pixar's of the world, and Genius aspires to work closely with teachers, parents and educators to re-imagine the way our students learn - your role will be central to achieving this bold vision.

Roles & Responsibilities for Business Development Executive (Tele-Sales):

- Responsible for making outbound calls and regular follow up with Parents to ensure App Downloads and increase App Usage among newly acquired and existing customers.


- Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. To meet sales target.

- Explaining the beautiful Genius Consumer Product features in detail and how to take advantage of various packages.

- Develop an emotional connect with Parents to collect feedback on content, understanding child/parent mindset, sharing progress of the child and corrective actions that can be taken athome.

- Educational Counseling to help children/parents identify weak topics/subtopics of Chapters across Maths, Science and English.

- Keep the Parents informed about the amazing updates we keep making in our App and make them increase the student's engagement by motivating them and making them understand the importance of the Genius App.

- Develop a relationship with School teachers to give them a feel of Genius vision and motivate them to push children to solve on Genius App. Making them understand the value, importance and power of Genius Teacher Analytics and how to use it to the fullest.

- Collect feedback from Teachers for Content and Analytics regularly to keep ourselves updated and in sync with the students requirements.

- Keep the Teachers informed about the amazing updates we keep making in our App and how they can make necessary announcements among the students in class or take additional steps whenever required.

- Maintain a culture of quality, accountability, and meritocracy within the team

- Implement new ideas to promote business and achieve much more than asked for.

Required Knowledge and Skills :

- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Goal oriented with a positive attitude and effective sales ability. Be a go-getter.

- Hunger and ambition to create impact that outlives oneself; do work that one can be proud of

- Good at convincing, problem solving and objection handling abilities.

- Proficient in computers (word, excel etc), and proactive.

- Be a team player and have the ability to mentor and train new team members, ability to hold high standards while also offering support and maintaining positive relationships

Languages Known :

Excellent fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi ( + Kannada, Tamil, Telugu would be a plus)

Educational Qualification:

- Any Graduate/ Post graduate

- Experience of 0 to 3 years

Location: Vikhroli (W), Mumbai

Salary Range: INR 25,000- 35,000/- per month based on experience

Placement: Permanent with a probation of 3 months, based on performance
