Job Summary : Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Media Business Development professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the media industry. This role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and proposing tailored media solutions to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Prospecting and Lead Generation :

- Identify potential clients and generate new leads through market research and networking.

- Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities to meet exceed sales targets.

Client Relationship Management :

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.

- Understand client needs and objectives to tailor media/marketing solutions that address their specific challenges.

Product Knowledge :

- Stay updated on industry trends, marketing technologies, and advertising strategies.

- Be well-informed about the company's media products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.

Proposal Development :

- Create compelling proposals and presentations for clients.

- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized offerings that align with client objectives.

Negotiation and Closing :

- Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure agreements and contracts.

- Close deals and achieve revenue targets.

Sales Reporting :

- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions.

- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.

Market Analysis :

- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.

- Proven track record in media sales or business development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

- Strong understanding of the media industry and advertising landscape.

Preferred Skills :

- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools

- An existing network within the media industry.

- Experience working with digital media, broadcast media, print media, or other relevant segments of the media sector.

- Knowledge of programmatic advertising and digital marketing trends.

- Ability to travel and attend client meetings as needed.

Personal Attributes :

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
