Executive - Business Development - Pipes Business (2-4 yrs)

The Sales Position is for Pipe Activity which globally comes under the brand. The Pipe Activity along with Gypsum, Insulation, Industrial Mortars and Exterior Products, belongs to the Construction Sector. Within the pipe activity, there are business units which address different pipe market segments. Apart from ductile iron pipes for water transmission and distribution, this activity includes businesses focused on buildings (soil and drain pipes) and roads (municipal castings). The building products of this brand are high end cast iron pipes for waste water evacuation in buildings. These applications are commonly referred as soil and drain applications.

Currently the cast iron pipes for buildings are imported and sold and over time there are plans to increase the local value addition. We are actively present in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore.

ROLE PURPOSE

Responsible for business development of products in North India.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Deliverables:

- Customer Relationship Management - " enhance customer base in co-ordination with MEP/Plumbing Consultant/ Clients / Project Management Consultant / Architects and Contractors.

- Handling channel network, retail sales and key accounts. To penetrate by identifying new dealers/ sub dealers / retailers.

- To deal with builders, design engineers, plumbing consultants and contractors.

- Identifying training needs for channel network / contractors / Installers and organising for the same.

- Identifying & justifying promotion need and media

- Comprehensive project tracking and early engagement with relevant decision makers to gain advantage in terms of unique specification + adequate budgets.

- Make the contractors comfortable with the PAM solution, deal with all their problems and get their full support.

- Effective periodic reporting.

KNOWLEDGE

- Business Development and good marketing person who understands Projects

- Good Understanding of projects in south and west regions and having contacts at key builder locations.

- Basic Engineering and technical understanding of Civil Engineering

- Concept Selling and Solution selling approach

- Analytical thinking

- Strong communication skills

- High level interpersonal and influencing skills

- Relationship building

EXPERIENCE

- BE in any engineering field.

- 2-3 years of experience in project sales
