Job Summary:

As a Business Development Executive (BDE) for our engineering services division, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and revenue for the company. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, and securing new business opportunities within the engineering services sector. This position requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research and Analysis:

- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the engineering services sector.

- Analyze competitor offerings and market dynamics to develop a competitive edge.

2. Lead Generation:

- Identify and target potential clients through various channels, including online research, industry events, and networking.

- Generate qualified leads and maintain a database of prospects.

3. Client Relationship Management:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients.

- Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor solutions accordingly.

4. Proposal Development:

- Collaborate with technical teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations.

- Customize solutions to meet the specific requirements of clients.

5. Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients.

6. Networking and Industry Engagement:

- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to expand the company's presence and network.

- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations.

7. Reporting:

- Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and progress toward goals.

- Provide insights and recommendations to management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (MBA is a plus).

- Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the engineering services sector.

- Strong technical knowledge or the ability to quickly understand complex engineering concepts.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Negotiation and closing skills.

- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements:

- Willingness to travel as required.

- A valid driver's license (if applicable).
