Executive - Business Development - Drug/Food & Advanced Clinical Testing & Research (2-5 yrs)
We are one of India's premier certified & approved institutional laboratory for Drug, Food and Advanced Clinical testing and research .
We are looking for an ideal candidate who can independently catalyse the growth of the respective vertical and take them to the top 3 in terms of market share for the respective sectors.
JD :
- Understand the various testing and research offerings and portfolio of the Organization
- Understand the related compliance requirements required for various industries
- Identify potential client segments and clients for our offerings
- Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies for these offerings
- Develop a target pipeline and a strategy in place to develop and grow the business
- Conceptualize consumer promotion schemes
- Interact with customers, understand their problems and customise our offerings
- Convert the leads and be the focal point for the delivery and escalation
- Manage Key accounts and ensure desired service levels are achieved
- Develop and maintain good relationship with client and project an appropriate image of the organization
- Participate in field work related to market research to obtain first hand consumer insights
- Deliver agreed on revenue and share objectives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis; achieve monthly KPIs
- Travelling to customer locations as required
Key Requirements :
- Should have Experience in Life Science Sales/ Biotech sales/Research institute sales/Lab Sales
- Experience within the Testing industry would be an added advantage
- UG/PG degree in biotech/ biochemistry/chemistry or similar in biomedical science and/or MBA
- Ability to work in a multitasking environment
- Sales/Marketing Experience of minimum 2-5years
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as this role requires continuous liaison with clients
- Excellent Computer skills (MS Office)/Presentation skills(Powerpoint) and Communication Skills
- Should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads, client meetings, etc
- Customer service, organizational skills and strong work ethic
