Market Monitoring : Continuously monitor market trends and proactively take corrective actions to ensure success.
Analytical Skills :
Costing Expertise : Possess deep understanding of costing for exports, imports, and local distribution models to offer customers competitive pricing across various delivery methods and Incoterms.
Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze product sales data, prices, and trends to identify patterns and opportunities.
Sales Variance Analysis : Identify and investigate discrepancies between sales targets, achieved quantities, and budgets to optimize performance.
Sales Performance Presentations : Prepare data-driven presentations to review sales performance.
Market Research :
Competitive Intelligence : Monitor competitor activity, global trade flows, and export-import databases to identify potential market gaps.
Demand & Supply Analysis : Analyze supply and demand dynamics for assigned chemicals to inform pricing strategies.
Business Intelligence : Utilize secondary research methods (subscribed news databases, industry resources) to gather valuable market information.
Competitive Tracking : Monitor competitor activities through annual reports, news releases, and other publicly available information.
Global Costing Analysis : Understand and track global and domestic pricing for key raw materials and finished products.

Professional Demeanor : A highly professional individual with a positive and results-oriented attitude.
Industry Background : Experience in the chemical and its auxiliary industries is preferred.
Education : Bachelor's degree in chemistry/chemical engineering and an MBA from a reputable institution.
Experience :
- Minimum 1 year of experience in export sales and international business development for chemicals in overseas markets.
- Prior exposure to business development or product management in large Indian/global specialty chemicals companies is a plus.
Skills :
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven proficiency in data analysis techniques using MS Excel.
