Digital Copy Editor :

Do you have a passion for writing, a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure. If you are a grammar freak and often end up correcting grammatical mistakes in your head, while reading articles/blogs etc. then you clearly belong here. We have a requirement for a copy editor to help us make our clients look good.

What we need :

- The candidate must be able to separate good copy from bad in terms of grammar, communication strategy, message, customer persona and geography

- Ability to meet the deadlines is a non-negotiable

- The candidate must have excellent English language skills

- The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent

- The candidate must understand what makes content on the web sticky, conversation-starting and good for SEO and social sharing

- Strong grasp of MS Word is a must

- Strong coordination skills

- Basic understanding of SEO will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage a team of 25 national and international writers and editors - work delegation, capacity planning, copy review, recruitment, rewards, remuneration and recognition

- Ensure timely delivery of good copies for different clients

- Coordinate with multiple teams of various backgrounds across the organization to execute digital content strategies across our network of local websites

- Train and mentor local editors on digital best practices and content creation strategies

- Strategise the development of content based on audience demand and search data

- Strategise ways to increase site audience & engagement

- Utilise best practices for Search Engine Optimization and Social Media to drive audience - through on-page and off-page strategies

- Write copies for Facebook Ads, Google ads and SEO meta data & Social Media Copies

- Write SEO articles for various clients
