Embassy Group - Chief Business Officer - EduTech Segment (10-20 yrs)

Job Purpose :

The Chief Business Officer will be a part of the Leadership Team of Embassy Education and lead the establishment, management, and operations of the Online Education Vertical of Embassy Group.

Key Responsibilities :

S/He will be responsible for the online learning vertical of the Group along with the academic team and partners, as follows:

- Lead the new initiative of the Group in online learning vertical

- Formulate a comprehensive business plan with clear understanding of business goals and objectives

- Formulate go-to-market strategy to achieve the business goals

- Plan and implement branding, marketing, and adverting campaigns for securing the admissions and revenue goals

- Select, train, develop and manage team for sales, admissions, and customer services.

- Coordinate and work in collaboration with other functional heads within the Group

- Coordinate and work in collaboration with Partners to deliver the academic programmes.

- Set-up systems, practices and processes for sales, admissions, customer services and engagement ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.

- To present monthly MIS and other reports as required by the CEO from time to time

- To meet and exceed the financial goals defined by the CEO for the business vertical

Qualifications and Work Experience:

- Postgraduate in Management and similar from a reputed Institute.

- Must possess at least five years- experience in a leadership role managing business operations, sales and / or marketing, finance, for a large organization, preferably in EdTech venture.

- Certifications in Digital Marketing, Google, Facebook and similar will be helpful

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies :

- Must have reasonable expertise in digital marketing, marketing automations and tech tools.

- Possess the knowledge and experience to formulate a business plan

- Possess good knowledge of CRM, Website Integrations, MS-Office software suite and ERP in education.

- Should possess excellent organization, communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Possess the ability to think differently, independently with a passion for operational excellence

- Must be familiar with developments in EdTech sector and regulations around formal education space in India.

- Possess the ability to train, mentor and develop call executives, sales manager and others in the team.

- Possess the flexibility with time to work extra hours, as and when required.

- Possess the ability to work in a team as team player with high people orientation is must.
