Job Description :
- As a Business Development Manager - Sales at Edwisely, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our B2B Ed-Tech solutions. We seek a dynamic professional with a strong background in lead generation, adept at establishing and nurturing relationships with universities and colleges, and showcasing and highlighting the benefits of our AI-driven personalized learning platform for Faculty and Engineering students, ultimately driving the sales performance. This role requires leadership, ownership, persistence, and a commitment to achieving revenue targets while expanding our market presence.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand industry trends in the B2B Ed-Tech sector.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with universities and colleges through effective lead generation strategies to expand our client base.
- Take ownership of the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve individual targets. Ensure timely follow-ups and engagement with potential clients.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in universities and colleges including all the key stakeholders.
- Deliver compelling and persuasive presentations to key stakeholders, highlighting Edwisely's AI-driven learning platform benefits, impact and value proposition for faculty and engineering students.
- Understand the unique needs of each client and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
- Demonstrate a performance-driven mindset, consistently meet and exceed the sales targets.
- Exhibit persistence in overcoming challenges and objections to drive successful deal closures.
- Lead negotiations and finalize contracts with clients. Ensure terms and conditions are mutually beneficial and align with Edwisely's business goals.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial contact to post-implementation support.
- Efficiently manage the invoicing processing and ensure timely payment of accounts receivables.
Education Qualifications :
- BBA/MBA from tier 1 colleges (Premium Colleges)
Key Competencies :
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including strong leadership abilities.
- Strong lead generation and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of the Ed-Tech industry.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the Ed-Tech sector.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets, displaying leadership in driving performance excellence.
