Assistant Manager Communications
Responsibilities :
The Assistant Manager Communications is responsible for various tasks related to creative content delivery, online management, and consistency in the organization's branding messaging.
The areas of responsibility include :
- Brand Alignment
- Understanding and adhering to the organization's manual working guidelines.
- Creating and delivering communications content that aligns with the brand.
- Expanding the organization's digital footprint through social media and driving the narrative.
- Producing engaging content, including copies and collateral.
- Developing campaigns in collaboration with the team and managing the calendar year.
- Monitoring and analyzing user metrics and engagement, and creating monthly reports for analysis.
- Conducting a weekly hygiene check on the brand.
- Staying up to date with new emerging trends to help keep the organization's presence consistently relevant.
- Maintaining the organization's presence and ensuring consistent information delivery according to the annual plan and representative mission core values.
- Content Development
- Coordinating teams to collect success stories, photographs, or videos from the field for donor reporting.
- Translating and rewriting content/case studies from Hindi to suit the needs of various communication vehicles.
- Brainstorming ways to present content through words, pictures, audio, video, and illustrations.
- Visiting program areas and other related assignments.
- Supporting the development of press releases and creating required PowerPoint presentations.
Other Responsibilities :
- Timely documentation, record-keeping, and updating the mailing list to send out updates to stakeholders.
- Updating website collaterals by coordinating with internal and external vendors.
Preferred Education Background and Work Experience :
- Graduate or Post/Diploma in Mass Communication, PR, Journalism, or Marketing.
- 2-3 years of experience in communications/corporate communications.
- Experience in copywriting and writing.
- Familiarity with the industry and general consumer savvy.
