Job Summary :

We are seeking people with strong knowledge and decent experience of K-12 Segment along with an attitude to lead the changes and take responsibilities, especially in a young company environment.

Responsibilities and Duties :

The scope of work :

- Create, Develop & Edit the content of English from standard 01st - 10th of CBSE Board.

AS A CONTENT DEVELOPER :

- Write fresh content based on CBSE curriculum and NCERT guidelines.

- Research & collect information from all known sources to improve the quality of content.

- Prepare test related question/model answer papers etc.

- Create interactive exercises and activities to support learning outcomes.

- Use existing course materials for the creation of new course.

- Working in close coordination with the Editorial Head to produce visual aids for the new courses.

EDITOR :

- Copy-edit, proofread and review subject content.

- Check language and facts.

- Check if the content matches the age group and the class level.

- Create quality products maintaining consistency and accuracy of text / illustrations / diagrams / figures / maps.

- Proofread content for errors and ensure that content is written per instructions.

- Copy, edit and proofread content created by other content writers.

- Format chapters with typesetters.

- Create content to fill in gaps in the text.

- Check for potential legal/copyright problems (ensure the content is plagiarism free and doesn't exist in any competitor's texts).

Qualifications and Skills :

In-depth knowledge of NCERT guidelines and CBSE Curriculum standards.

Candidate MUST be aware of present (2017) NCERT Guidelines and syllabus.

- A strong academic background in relevant subject area/ academics.

- 1-5 years of prior school teaching experience and storyboard and script writing experience would be ideal.

- 1-5 years of academic content writing experience.

- Exposure of K-10 Segments

- Content/ Curriculum Writing/ Publishing experience will be a plus.

- Full-time graduates experienced/freshers from various streams.

- Excellent writing skills, good listening skills, multi-tasking ability & ability to work individually.

- Strong knowledge of the competitive market
