Job Description - Sales Engineer-Export

A. Position Summary

We are a leading snack food equipment manufacturing company in India having been in the business for more than 20 years. We are looking for smart and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team and handle sales and expand our client base in the assigned territory for overseas market.

The position is based at Thane.

The Sales Engineer-Export shall have the responsibility to establish contact with customers (existing as well as potential prospects), explore the territory to generate potential leads, assess market potential and visit as necessary, and individually achieve targeted sales objectives. The successful incumbent will act like eyes and ears of the company and continuously strive to grow the organizations footprint in the assigned territory in overseas market.

B. Key Responsibilities

- Ensure achievement of sales objectives (targets) as per annual business plan

- Managing & developing quality Sales pipeline to meet order booking, sales & margin plans as per targets

- Extensively research, collaborate & assess market potential in the assigned territory and build extensive knowledge about the end users and the market as a whole

- Effectively implement sales process including lead generation, customer need capture, development & submission of suitable quotes in close co-ordination with technical teams, negotiations, follow ups and closing sales etc.

- Provide or enable required technical, commercial & customer inputs for order processing

- Driving sales for big projects & managing key accounts

- Supporting & ownership of billing & collections within the assigned territories/ customers

- Conduct Market visits to meet customers to understand the trend, customers needs and product response

- Co-ordinating & completely support the Operations/ service teams for ensuring customer satisfaction

- Capture market insights, client requirements & position customized product solutions accordingly

- Report to the department head / back-end sales resources with timely & accurate feedback from market and constantly look at areas for growth

- Monitor key Initiatives suggested by department heads and/or the organization and work towards improvement & development of the assigned territory and/or key customers

- Maintain & adhere to sales process discipline, sales information management system, activity reporting and other company guidelines.

- Participate, lead and drive identified sales initiatives as per business needs

- Participate in Seminars /Exhibitions/Conferences related to Food Processing Industry.

C. Other Information:

- QUALIFICATION:

- BE/ BTech/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 7 years of industry experience.

- Prior experience in Export Sales, exposure in International market with travelling experience is preferable.

- MBA is desirable

- Experience in Institutional sales, Capital sales, Direct sales, B2B Industry, negotiations etc.

- Creative approach to sales and build customer relationships in groundbreaking new ways

- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail

- Computer proficiency, data analytics, AutoCAD understanding is highly desirable

- EXPERIENCE

- 3-7 years of experience

- International Experience desirable.

- AGE 24 to 30 Years

- KEYSKILLS:

Result oriented, Excellent analytical & presentation skills, Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), Strong client management / Negotiation skills, willingness to travel overseas market.

- CTC : - Upto 7 Lacs Per Annum
