E - Commerce Manager Job Description :

We- re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager eCommerce to lead our eCommerce and Digital Business in India. The Manager will be the leading voice of India eCommerce and Digital Business and will help define and execute against the Autodesk digital & ecommerce strategy in India. This person will exceed ecommerce and inside sales objectives within India. These objectives include billings, subscribers, traffic, conversion rates and customer experience. In addition, they are responsible for identifying local platform improvements and developing/executing local strategies and tactics that drive towards Autodesk's digital goals. This role reports into the Director of Digital &eCommerce, APJ for Autodesk

E - Commerce Manager Key Responsibility Areas :

- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media

- Build networks and spheres of influence in order to grow prospect lists

- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs

- Set up meetings with potential clients to negotiate and close deals

- Prepare and deliver presentations on products/services

- Report to sales manager about goals, sales, and prospects

- Participate in events and conferences on behalf of the company

- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team

- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure it's strong presence

- Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives

- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs

- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team

- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

- Actively lead efforts to exceed digital and ecommerce goals in India

- Relentlessly drive for localized digital experiences that exceed expectations, drive engagement, and increase conversion in India

- Assist senior leadership and business partners in creation of long term eCommerce& digital strategy

- Be the voice of India in all aspects of the digital business

- Help drive the local adoption of digital platform improvements both internally and externally

- Ensure successful planning, execution, optimization for key business drivers such as promotions, site merchandising, and digital marketing

- Partner with local Demand Generation/Marketing to execute full-funnel customer experiences, including paid and owned marketing, to deliver on the billings and seats goals

- Integrate usability studies, customers feedback, research and market analysis into testing and optimization plans to enhance customers satisfaction

- Facilitating cross-functional planning & execution in the region, working closely with Inside Sales leadership, Demand Generation leadership, Client Services and eCommerce Support, Finance

- Making data-driven decisions, to optimize performance. You- ll work with your organization's analytics, testing and optimization teams as well as others across the company to acquire and understand the data and your customer profile

E - Commerce Manager Requirement :

- 6 to 8 years of total experience and 5+ years experience in B2B and B2C eCommerce in India

- You have proven experience in promotions, merchandising, and creating effective customer web experiences on a self-owned eCommerce platform

- Sales experience or experience working with sales teams a strong plus

- Experience with India paid media ecosystem

- Strong communication skills and a highly collaborative approach

- Communication is critical in this role. You listen, seek to understand, facilitate difficult conversations, communicate your vision, and are courageous with differing points of view. At times, you are willing to disagree and commit

- Business and Finance acumen. You regularly report against sales targets and understand the local elements that contribute to the business (both quantitative and qualitative)

- A hands-on, proactive style. You are closely involved in the implementation, driving projects to execution. You- re a self-starter and have a strong sense of urgency and ownership to deliver commitments on time

- Data driven decision-making skills. You have keen analytics skills, especially with Site Catalyst. You understand and have experience with A/B and multivariate testing. You use data from multiple sources to drive meaningful decisions and actions

- Understanding and ability to manage key metrics, from traffic and purchase conversion to page load times. You understand how each of these impacts your ability to meet goals and know how to influence them

- A customer experience perspective. You are familiar with all of the components that make up a great web experience: Visual Design, UX, Content, Paid Media, SEO, Social, and many more

- Experience and comfort working in a team that is based in geographically diverse locations

- The courage and energy to persevere when systems or structure don- t support where we need to go. And the ability to find ways to do things while those systems and structures catch up with us

- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal
