About the Role :

- We are seeking a creative Public Relations Manager to oversee our communications and media relations. In this role, you will develop communication strategies to engage customers, increase brand trust, and cultivate and maintain positive relationships with media contacts. 


- When negative press issues arise, you must identify the source and create responses to reduce or eliminate the unfavorable publicity. You will primarily work on strategies in-house but will occasionally collaborate with outside public relations firms on large-scale media campaigns.

Job Description

- You will develop and maintain a PR strategy to create timely, relevant content that strengthens EC-Council's position as a thought leader and innovator in the field. You will drive coverage in national media related to IT security compliance, cybersecurity, and other verticals the company supports in a way that is relevant.


- You will manage the relationship with programs, events, and strategic campaigns. You will be in charge of ensuring that the company's media efforts are focusing on the right initiatives by prioritizing, measuring, and reporting on those efforts. With a full understanding of our solutions and the competitive landscape, you will write thoughtful, well-crafted press releases, media pitches, executive talking points, and social media posts. You will also be in charge of coordinating rapid response plans to capitalize on breaking news, technical security analysis, and other quick-turnaround projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

- This role will lead communications for India, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

- Develop public relations strategies for current and existing products, launches, and promotions.

- Work with content teams to ensure they produce relevant, compelling social media updates with links to products or promotions.

- Increase brand visibility and positioning in the industry.

- Develop and produce high-quality, informative, and interesting press releases, press kits, and related materials.

- Deal with inquiries from the public and the press.

- Cultivate and protect the company's image.

- Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising.

- Track media coverage and follow industry trends.

- Build and maintain positive relationships and communications with stakeholders, media, and the public.

- Analyze media coverage and develop responses when needed.

- Organize promotional events, press conferences, tours, visits, and exhibitions.

- Create and manage PR budgets, deadlines, objectives, and schedules.

- Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual media activity reports.

Experience & Qualifications

- Experience in public relations, media relations, and reputation management

- Experiencing managing social media accounts and campaigns

- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, business, or a related field

- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to eliminate jargon and communicate in simple yet creative ways

- 8- 10+ years of experience in PR or a related field

- Experience with technologies and best practices for media campaigns across multiple platforms

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

- Outstanding communication skills
