Position Overview :

As the Regional Sales Head for Tamil Nadu, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations within TN, with a focus on managing and expanding relationships with large distributors. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth, achieve sales targets, and enhance the market presence of our products.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives in your region. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.

Team Leadership : Lead and motivate the region's sales team, which includes Sales Officers and DSRs, to achieve sales targets and objectives. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's professional development.

Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with large distributors within the region. Travel extensively within the state to meet a minimum of 20 key accounts in a month to understand their retailer markets and pain points.

Sales Performance : Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve targets.

Market Expansion : Identify and explore new business opportunities within the region. Work closely with the head office to develop and execute plans to expand the company's presence in both existing and untapped markets within the region.

Collaboration : Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of sales initiatives. Provide valuable market insights to contribute to product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications :

- 10 - 15 years of experience as a Sales Head or in a similar leadership role within the FMCG industry.

- Demonstrated success in managing and expanding relationships with large distributors.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

- Effective communication and negotiation skills.

- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
