The Role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be seeking new business by contacting and developing relationships with our prospective customers. You will act as a first point of contact for our company. Your primary focus is to educate and set up meetings for business to business collaborations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Identify target customers and be a key player in growing our business by producing highly effective and personalized outreach campaigns via emails and calls.

2. Work smart to qualify prospects and discover potential opportunities

3. Engage with prospects over email, phone, linkedin and other strategic networking channels to qualify and set appointments for Account Executives.

4. Build subject matter expertise on our products and solutions and also grab understanding on competition and pitch our compelling value proposition to an appointment.

5. Utilize Sales Navigator, cold calling, Apollo or any other database, and write creative copies to generate new sales opportunities.

Maintain active engagement with leads through informed, strategic, and creative follow-ups.

6. Conduct deep research on the leads to understand various facets (e.g. key stakeholders, revenue, business divisions, plans, about the lead which can be shared with the internal team.

7. Expand knowledge of industry, sales process and as well as the competitive posture of the company to spark meaningful conversations with prospects.

Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual key performance indicators.

8. Partner with marketing and product to deliver effective messaging and identify the best customer profiles.

9. Coordinate with Account Executives for client status updates.

- Identify best practices to refine the company's lead generation playbook.

10. Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects

Required Qualifications and Skills :


1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent

2. At least 2+ years' of experience in a related role, with a history of exceeding lead targets

3. Prior work experience in SaaS companies is a plus.

4. A self-driven and self learner with ambition high enough to make a mark in the industry

5. Ability to handle rejections and stay focused and driven.

6. Ability to multi-task and manage your tasks effectively.

7. Strong communication skills via phone and email

8. Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills

9. Should be willing to work keeping in mind US work hours
