The Employer

An age-old manufacturer & distributor of luxury household goods, our client is a well established player in the Northern part of the country. They also have a strong export wing to cater to the growing demands from countries across Asia.

The Job

- As a District Sales Manager your primary responsibility will be to explore and build new channel partners within the assigned region & establish a solid distributor network. You work would include:

- Building a sales team that will be responsible for identifying retail stores for mobilizing the stocks with distributors.

- Reporting to the Area Sales Manager and collaborating with them to design new ways of influencing prospects.

- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.

- Liaising with marketing teams to devise apt promotional strategies.

- Staying abreast of the product portfolio and providing training to junior professionals at regular intervals.

- Collecting data and maintaining clear records of key metrics & target KPIs for easy quarterly reporting.

The Profile

- You possess a Master in Sales & Distribution or related discipline from a top tier college or university.

- You have at least 4 years' experience within a B2B account management role with experience in building distribution networks.

- You have a good understanding of luxury goods market in India and a fair knowledge of Asia markets is a plus.

- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.

- You area problem solver who can handle critical situations in a poised manner.

- You are comfortable building and maintaining client relationships and can easily interact with senior stakeholders.

 You have a knack for grabbing attention and you can well articulate any amounts of information to any given audience in a simple and understandable manner.
