Director - Sales - Digital Pathology (10-15 yrs)

Role Overview :

As the Digital Pathology Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration. You will oversee a team of sales professionals, driving their success through strategic planning, mentorship, and effective sales methodologies. Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and solidifying our position as a leader in the digital pathology industry.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve revenue targets (10cr per annum) and market expansion goals. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to maximize their potential and performance.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by establishing relationships with key stakeholders, including pathologists, laboratory directors, and healthcare executives.


- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to align sales strategies with product enhancements and market needs.

- Drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to continually refine sales strategies and identify areas for growth.

- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and establish a strong network within the digital pathology community.

- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to the executive team.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience in the healthcare, medical device, or diagnostic industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Experience in selling digital pathology solutions or related healthcare technology is highly desirable.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing sales team.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a deep understanding of market dynamics.

- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

- Willingness to travel as needed.
