Detect Technologies - Content Writer/Content Marketing Role (2-5 yrs)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

At Detect Technologies, we are enabling safety and productivity in the industrial AI space. Our solutions are their first-of-their-kind, and to create awareness, we are searching for a content writer who can own content creation, proofreading, and distribution. The ideal candidate should have a track record of producing technical content pieces with high-level engagement and proven experience in social media management for B2B SaaS companies. They will design and run our content creation and distribution strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Create a content strategy for Detect Technologies and its products and ensure continuous creation of content.

- Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).

- Come up with ideas to create more traction online - identify other platforms, forums, etc., to generate more traffic, and do so with SEO in mind.

- Social media management: o Build and manage our social media profiles and organic presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

- Deliver creative social-first content to increase followers, reach, and engagement across our core social channels.

- Continually explore new channels to use to grow our social media reach.

- Drive technical research and competition research to assess current content strategies, customer profiles, competitive landscapes, and industry trends to develop a strong sense of strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to improve brand awareness and positioning.

- Build a brand image in the public with announcements and releases, in collaboration with the sales team and PR agency.

- Work with internal stakeholders to develop custom content that helps to amplify their successes with Detect Technologies, which leads to further growth, adoption, usage, and promotion.

- Understand the customer journey and identify areas of communication with customers.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of content creation experience preferably in B2B SaaS companies.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent with content marketing experience.

- Proven experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and Social Media Management.

- Solid knowledge of content marketing techniques and principles.

- In-depth knowledge of content distribution and best practices across LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Quora, and Twitter.

- Excellent critical thinking skills - effectively weigh the strengths and weaknesses of different solutions and approaches.

- Proficiency in content management systems like WordPress, Analytics, MS Office, and relevant applications/tools.

- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts to make them easy to understand. 


- Excellent writing, researching, and proofreading skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

- Wants to be challenged, make an impact, and learn a lot while working in a fast[1]paced environment.

- Ability to take initiative, employ good judgment, and manage projects with assistance.
