Desh Apnayen Sahayog Foundation - Manager - Marketing Communications (1-10 yrs)
A Mumbai-based NGO is looking for someone with good written communication skills in English to join as a Communications Manager. Starting immediately or latest by 25th May 2022.
Key responsibilities :
- Writing a newsletter to showcase the highlights of the month (students' learnings, testimonials, etc.)
- Writing short updates that can be sent to students and principals
- Adapting the above content for social media posts and managing the NGO's social media accounts
- Co-ordinating with a freelancer graphic designer/video editor to get a few creatives made (or making them directly using Canva.com, as needed)
- Attending online meetings with partner organisations and writing minutes of the meeting
If interested, the Communications Manager can also contribute in other ways, including :
- Emceeing a few online webinars/NGO events
- Helping formulate a strategy or offering inputs related to branding/communications/social media/volunteer engagement/monitoring and evaluation/school outreach
- Coming up with activity ideas or related content for students
- Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
