Deputy Business Manager - Exclusive Brand Outlets (7-10 yrs)

We have one very urgent position in one of BEST RETAIL organizations across the following location :

BASE LOCATION : Chennai

OFFERED CTC : 12lac + variables Approx ; depending upon current CTC.

POSITION : Deputy Business Manager - EBO (EXCLUSIVE BRAND OUTLETS)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

I. SUMMARY : Responsible for managing the retail store operations at the EBO stores as per the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and ensuring the franchisees delivers sales as per the targets and reporting the same to the management towards meeting the overall revenue numbers.

II. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS :

- The Area Sales Manager/ Executive shall report directly to the Deputy Business Manager - EBO

- The Area Sales Manager/ Executive works closely with the following titles in the different departments :

a. For day-to-day activities, operational report & Reporting to Deputy Business Manager - EBO

b. Interaction with Commercial Sales Team for report sending, billing details, payment status, Target achievement status.

c. With Marketing Department for promotional & marketing material, carry bags, POP Installations & Allocation of Modules.

d. With Marketing Services / Legal Team for the agreement status, signing etc.

e. With distributors for stock replenishments, incentive follow-ups and regular feedback maintaining healthy business relationships

f. With the Projects team for the layouts, zoning, merchandise plan working, general work update for new stores and maintenance

III. ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

- Sales & Operations :

a. Monitoring the achievement Sales Targets as per annual operations plan

b. Suggest ways to increase the revenues for the franchisee & the company

c. Local promotions

d. Maintaining MDQ (Minimum Display Quantity) at the EBO at all times as per the base stock worked upon basis the merchandising plan

e. Check on the replenishment from the distributor to the EBO stores & highlight, issues, if any.

f. Reporting from the stores and ensuring that the best sellers are always in place and the slow moving lines are promoted

g. Ensuring the VM & store merchandising is as per standards at all times

h. Monitoring the store staff quality, communication, sales and training the front end staff as per needs and schedule

i. Highlight any deviations on priority

j. Submit a route plan to cover all stores in the area / city of operation

- Reporting :

a. Sending daily sales figures of all EBO in the purview at closing of the day.

b. Monitoring the DSR & system data is sent by all EBO stores by end of day

c. Ensuring all EBO stores open as per schedule timelines.

d. Monthly Sales Report is sent on time by all EBO

e. Ensuring the EBO (franchisee) and Distributor send the Quarterly claims along with the supporting payment details, store up-keep & reporting

f. Ensuring the franchisee payments to the distributor are as per norms

g. Follow all processes being out in place as per the norms as per strict deadlines

3. Retail Business Development Acumen :

- Good market knowledge of upcoming & existing markets to scout for unrepresented areas.

- Anticipates problems;

- Sees how a problem and its solution will affect other teams;

- Gathers information before making decisions;

- Takes informed risks;

- Recognizes and accurately evaluates the signs of a problem;

- Analyses current procedures for possible improvements

Industry preferred - Retail ( All segments )/ Fashion / Lifestyle/ Durables / EQUIVALENT .

- Excellent communication skills.
