Job Role / Designation: SEO Lead

Reporting to: Digital Head
Job description:
- To build and execute a robust SEO strategy for all our digital properties
- Scale Organic traffic from leading search engines like GoogleNews, Yahoo, Bing.
- Work very closely with Product team & Editorial teams to execute collective page views, traffic and page ranking goals.
- Develop and implement link building strategy
- Track, report, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
- Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
- Research and analyse competitor search strategies
- Work with the engineering team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
To do this, you should :
- 3-5 years of core SEO experience which includes SEO implementation & organic traffic growth with Google News experience
- Hands-on experience with various SEO optimization tools such as Google search console, SemRush, Afrefs, KW Finder
- In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, GoogleNews Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends) Prior experience of site audit and SEO project implementation is mandatory
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and optimization will be an added advantage
