Job Description for BDM cum BRM

- The business development manager (BDM) is the first point of contact a new potential client will have with our company when they are seeking information on the services the company provides. The BDM also responds to RFP's, tenders, and develops sales in new sales territories.

- The role of business relationship manager (BRM) is dedicated to monitoring customer satisfaction and understanding and relaying customer needs to the rest of the company's staff. The BRM role is tethered between the company and the customer at strategic and tactical levels, ensuring that the company understands the business requirements of the customer and is able to provide services that meet these needs.

- The relationship management involves systematic identification, analysis, management, monitoring and improvement of stakeholder relationships in order to target and improve mutually beneficial outcomes. This role involves maintaining regular communication with stakeholders, and addressing their needs through empathy with their environment, therefore ensuring that stakeholder needs, concerns or complaints are understood and addressed in accordance with organizational policy.

Responsibilities :

- Sales generation

- Lead nurturing and conversion

- Work and coordinate with presales team for RFP responses etc

- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings

- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities

- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones

- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales

- Developing quotes and proposals for clients

- Growing business / revenue by acquiring new customers and booking orders

- Growing business with existing customers thru upsell and cross sell

- Handling stakeholders- complaints and escalations well through a sympathetic (yet formal) process.

- Tracking customer and technology trends that could impact customer perception and service provision.

- Coming up with new offerings as per customer needs

- Identify potential win-win opportunities for customer and own organization

- Monitor ongoing commitments to ensure fulfilment

- Communicate both good and bad news to avoid surprises

Qualification and Skills Required :

- Engineering graduate. Management degree will be a plus

- 5+ years of exp in IT industry

- Leadership skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Understanding and solving business problems

- Good knowledge of social media channels
